I've gotten quite a taste for WoW-related machanima lately and especially enjoy those which put a new slant on Azeroth.
Case in point is Snoman's Dreamscape series. The fourth - and most - recent installment White Dreamscape is my favourite and my first exposure to his work. Basically, it showcases the best and most beautiful parts of Northrend as well as putting a spin on the old world areas - so snowy Winterspring becomes Summerspring, Elwynn Forest gets blossom or becomes Westfall-like and Ironforge is filled with grass and palm trees.
This is basically why I like it; altering the locals according to season wouldn't be hard (especially as there's a calendar already in place) and it would also make the zones that much interesting. The video really does accentuate the best of Blizzard, offering a chance to drool over the new zones (they do actually look like that in-game, too).
Anyway, check you this video above, then take a peek at my other favourite: Wandering Dreamscape. I like this one mainly due to the fantastic soundtrack, the references to Haruhi, Half Life 2 and Death Note and GM island!
